Dr. Rebecca C. Christofferson is an epidemiologist, biostatistician, and Associate Professor at LSU’s School of Veterinary Medicine, specializing in vector-borne and zoonotic diseases. With extensive experience in pandemic forecasting, infectious disease modeling, and global health security, she has advised on vaccine strategies, biosecurity, and outbreak response worldwide. A TEDx speaker and widely published researcher, Dr. Christofferson’s work bridges statistical rigor with real-world impact, shaping policies and interventions for emerging infectious threats.
Aileen Chang MD, MSPH received her MD from the Columbia University and trained in Internal Medicine and Public Health at the University of Miami. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Microbiology at George Washington University and a clinical translational arboviral researcher.
Dr. Enrique Chacon-Cruz, MD, MSc. Is a Pediatric Infectious Diseases specialist trained both in Mexico and the US, with a Masters in Vaccinology and Drug Development in Italy. With extensive experience in research for several vaccine-preventable diseases, has worked in many US-Mexico binational studies, along with International projects including vector-borne diseases. Dr. Chacon-Cruz is currently the CEO and founder of Think Vaccines, LLC in Houston, Texas.

Founding Member of the Latin American Travel Medicine Society (SLAMVI). More than 20 years of experience on Vaccines Clinical Research & Medical Affairs within Pharmaceutical Companies [GSK (Regional Director), NOVARTIS (Regional Director), and actually IQVIA (Global Medical Director Vaccines and IDs]. Experience conducting phase IV and Epidemiological studies. Over 20 years of PID /CR&D/ VACCINOLOGY experience.
Felicitas Colombo, Director of Government and Public Affairs, The Americas Health Foundation (AHF) Felicitas Colombo has spent over twenty years developing strategies with regional and global impact, fostering multi-stakeholder collaborations to shape better public policy. Ms. Colombo leads projects focused on regulatory and policy analysis, strategic communications, institutional relations, stakeholder engagement, partnerships, government relations, advocacy & awareness, access, and health education, aimed to drive policy advancements across various health topics. Ms. Colombo has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, and an Executive Master of Public Administration from the London School of Economics with a concentration in regulatory analysis, policy design and risk management. Skilled in identifying the viability of projects, developing tangible criteria for success and producing measurable results, while building consensus from different stakeholders through effective partnerships that convey evidence-based information. Concerned with governance, risk management and ethics applicable in a broad range of public and private settings.
